BizTown

So far this year our 5th grade class has been doing pretty well. Just last week we had Biz Town, an article from last week probably stated some information about that 5th grade field trip. And I think it is safe to say that this is one of the best school years I have had. Its also going to get so much better with Thanksgiving break right around the corner. Math has been going pretty good some of the math classes are ready for module-2, and have already taken their end of module Assessment. By Gavin

We learned about an artist, James Lavadour. He is a local Oregonian. Ms. Hersen came to our class and spent an hour teaching us about his print making. See the pictures below.

The fourth week

This week our class worked on Integrity. Our list includes; doing kind deeds when none are looking, To persevere in everything , and to be the right not the wrong. In music classes we have started to try trumpets,so far we have only touched the mouth pieces, but we are getting better!{remember to buzz!}. In PE we are doing our "foot ball" unit, as a warm-up we do a few rounds of "monarch". In Art with Mrs.Marshall we are making "artist trading cards"  Over all we have achieved a great fourth week !

Mayor race update

Here is the news on the mayor race: Each class had people who had to perform speeches which in my opinion as one of the class winners was very nerve racking. Then there were five winners one from each class that told their speech to the whole fifth grade. It was so scary I almost wet my pants. Then everyone went back to class. We all had to wait with anticipation until the next day to find out who won. That is the scoop on the Mayor race. AnnaA
